Held annually, the Kent Care Awards recognise and honour the dedication, innovation, and hard work of professionals in the care sector. This year’s event, held at the Great Danes Hotel in Maidstone saw attendees from various care care providers across Kent.

Hannah Neal-Donald, a dedicated nurse with over ten years of experience as a nurse, was applauded for her exceptional commitment to patient care, her innovative approaches to complex care needs, and her unwavering dedication to her profession.

Upon receiving the award, an emotional Hannah said, “This award isn’t just for me. It’s for every nurse, carer, and support worker who goes above and beyond every single day. It’s for the patients we serve and their families who trust us with their loved ones. I’m truly honoured and humbled.”

The panel of judges, comprising industry experts, mentioned that choosing the winner for the Social Care Nursing Award was particularly challenging this year due to the high calibre of nominees. However, Hannah’s “consistent excellence and her ability to inspire those around her” made her stand out.

The event also highlighted the challenges faced by the care sector, especially in the wake of the global pandemic. The resilience and adaptability of care professionals, as exemplified by individuals like Hannah, were celebrated and recognised as the backbone of the industry.

Ann Taylor CEO of Hilton Nursing Partners says: “We couldn’t be prouder of Hannah’s achievement. Hannah’s win is a huge personal achievement and testament to the quality of care provided at Hilton Nursing Partners where she has been instrumental in our innovative approach to care.”
