PRAISE FOR CALL TO INSPIRE SOCIAL CARE NURSING NEW ENTRANTS

Hilton Nursing Partners praises the words of Andrea Sutcliffe CBE, CEO Nursing and Midwifery Council to inspire new entrants into social care nursing during the Nursing and Social Care Conference organised by Care Talk.

HILTON BACKS ANDREA SUTCLIFFE’S CALL TO INSPIRE NEW ENTRANTS INTO SOCIAL CARE NURSING

Taking centre stage in the virtual conference, broadcast to over one hundred delegates, Andrea Sutcliffe discussed the perception and future for social care nursing, its challenges and also the opportunities for the future.

Key to the conference discussion was how to make the most of the opportunities to promote social care nursing as the wonderfully rewarding, varied and challenging career option it is, something Hilton Nursing fully support and already promote as part of their long-term strategy for the future.

Ann Taylor, CEO at Hilton Nursing says: “Listening to Andrea speak about the future of social nursing certainly resonated with what we are doing here at Hilton. We constantly promote social care nursing as a career path and invest heavily in nursing education and training within our own company. In addition we have also created a new Clinical Supervision Group for nurses working in social care settings across Kent to offer peer support, knowledge sharing, guidance and signposting.

“We are proud of our nurses and continue to promote the inspiring work and stories we hear every day about how they have positively impacted on an individual’s life. Social care nursing is certainly not undervalued in our company, or with our patients who continued to receive the same level of care and attention through this pandemic due to the bravery and dedication of each and every member of our team.”

“As Andrea said, “Let’s make the most of the opportunities” and promote social care nursing as the wonderfully rewarding, varied and challenging career option it is.
