There are roles available across the entire Adult Social Care service including:

  • occupational therapists
  • approved mental health professionals.

KCC offer an attractive pay and benefits package including:

  • competitive pay
  • first class training and development
  • excellent Local Government Pension Scheme
  • 25-30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • Healthcare

Once applications are received, individual needs and experience will be discussed and qualified professionals will be placed in appropriate areas as soon as possible.

Those who are not a registered social care professional but wish to help their community can apply for our current care worker vacancies, or volunteer by contacting district or borough councils who are providing assistance to voluntary groups and individuals.

Clair Bell, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health said:

“During this unprecedented and demanding time, the continued wellbeing of our communities is an utmost priority. Our vulnerable people need our support more than ever now and we want to do everything we can to ensure that they get all the care and help they need.

“I am extremely proud and thankful for the outstanding ongoing work our existing social care staff continue to do daily during this health crisis but, demands are increasing and so we need more professionals to join the team on the frontline. These are crucial roles in expanding our capacity at a time of national need and I would like to ask all re-registered professionals to consider applying today.”
