500 Reasons to Support The Care Workers’ Charity

Hilton Nursing Partners have made a charitable commitment to The Care Workers’ Charity with an annual donation of £500 to the charity.

Committing to the annual support will enable the charity to keep their programmes open to care workers across the UK, providing essential hardship funds, mental health support and training, raising awareness and advocacy.

Ann Taylor, CEO at Hilton Nursing Partners says: “Our business is caring, we see how hard carers work, and how overlooked they can often be when they need someone to care for them. This is our way of making sure care workers have a safety-net in their hour of need, when they need someone to care The Care Workers’ Charity will be there for them.

The regular contribution ensures The Care Workers’ Charity can continue its work as the only safety net which exists for care workers in the UK.  To put the donation into context:

• £385 could replace a care worker’s washing machine so they have clean clothes for work and life. 
• £395 could repair the car that a car worker relies on to get to work. 
• £500 could provide one care worker with ten tailored mental health therapy to process chronic stress and trauma. 
• £1,550 could help a care worker with the financial burden of laying a loved one to rest.
