Celebrating International Nurses Day
We celebrated International Nurses Day by thanking and recognising the wonderful work of our nurses.
Introducing Angela.
Angela is a registered Nurse, with an amazing career, and even-more amazing stories!
Angela began her career in the Military as a nurse, from 1977-2001. Angela was a staff nurse, Junior Nurse, and progressed to the Theatre superintendent for the last 10 years of her career in the Military.
Angela spent 3 years working with a Care agency in the community, and worked all between Kent and Sussex.
Angela then moved into Further Education, where she spent 12 years teaching Health & Social Care courses to those pursuing a career in Care.
Angela then joined Hilton Nursing Partners in 2016 as a Trainer.
Angela was asked ‘What does working at Hilton mean for you?’
“I am fortunate to be involved, and work closely with lots of the team here at Hilton. I enjoy teaching and training our new-starters, and proud that the content of our programme is tailored to the requirements of our staff, so our new-starters can absorb our detailed training, and we can exercise this with our own flair with the broad scope of topics we teach.
The prize of Hilton is when staff members come back and recall teachings that has supported our patients, and that shows me that I am teaching the right way. I thoroughly enjoy working for Hilton, because it is working in a big family. Everyone is friendly, kind, and everyone has the opportunity to bet themselves. We can voice our concerns, our ideas, and Hilton is inclusive of any background or experience.”
Thank you Angela, and all our team who go above and beyond and make Hilton Nursing Partners one big family.
