Hilton Nursing Partners Featured in Care Certificate Celebration

Hilton Nursing Partners featured in the Care Certificate celebration week as part of the Support Worker Voice event this month.

Both Lindsey Eldridge, Personal Nursing Assistant and Janna Van De Peer, Deputy Team Leader, were chosen to represent Hilton Nursing Partners and were showcased as part of this event on Twitter @HASOEngland throughout the week.

Health Education England utilised the event to share with everyone how far the Care Certificate has come, how it provides a foundation for new Support Workers in Health and…..

1. Raise the profile of Support Workers – Hearing reflections from Support Workers on what achieving the Care Certificate means to them at the start of their career journey
2. Raise the profile of the Care Certificate programme – reflecting on its development and how it future proofs the future workforce
3. Raise the profile of Support Worker training and education – Organisational reflections from Care Certificate Leads and Educators- what they have achieved and how they maintain quality and relevant training for new recruits

Emma Rutterford-Dawkins, Training Manager Health First Aider at Hilton Nursing Partners says: “It is a pleasure to present and showcase Hilton at such an event, especially as we are a minority at this stage as the Celebration Week is predominantly NHS heavy. Hilton was one of the first community-based services to join the care certificate leads group and our involvement has highlighted how very different practices and emphasis on the care certificate is in the field in comparison to NHS services. We are part of driving the change of the Care Certificate and its future and we couldn’t be prouder.”
